Ryan began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable David A. Hylla, former Chief Judge of Madison County, and an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Shortly thereafter, Ryan began working for a local worker’s compensation firm, where he first discovered his passion for zealously advocating for his injured clients.

Following his clerkships, Ryan, a Madison County native, began his legal career as a prosecutor for the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he obtained jury verdicts in homicide cases as both first and second chair. He also served as the head of the State’s Attorney’s Office’s Juvenile Delinquency Division, Post- Conviction Docket, and Drug Interdiction Taskforce.

Not afraid of the courtroom, Ryan has extensive trial experience in both the civil and criminal arenas, having more than a dozen jury trials under his belt with multiple verdicts in excess of $1,000,000.

Outside of the office, Ryan spends his free time golfing and hanging out with his family and their two golden retrievers.
